Rescheduled 4th Listings Functionality Industry Test

Overview

IEX is rescheduling its 4th Listings Functionality Industry Test from Saturday, October 7 to Saturday, November 4. The change in timing is due to the rescheduled CQS and CTS Binary message format Confidence Test (now scheduled for Saturday, October 7) and other industry-wide tests scheduled in October (e.g., SIFMA BCP, LULD Amendment 12).

This will be the fourth of four (4) Saturday testing opportunities in preparation for IEX's planned launch as a primary listing exchange (pending SEC approval).

Saturday Industry Tests

IEX plans to be available during the following Saturday testing opportunities in advance of its launch as a primary listing exchange:

  • October 7: CQS and CTS Binary message format Confidence Test
  • October 14: SIFMA Industry-Wide BCP Test
  • October 21: CQS and CTS Binary Participant (i.e., Exchange) Input Test
  • October 28: LULD Amendment 12 Industry Test #1

IEX plans to conduct the following Saturday testing opportunity in advance of its launch as a primary listing exchange:

  • November 4: IEX Listings Industry Test #4

Intraday in the IEX Test Facility ("ITF")

Members may also test listings functionality, order types, and data feeds (via an ITF cross-connect) in the IEX Test Facility ("ITF"). The ITF is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET. Please see IEX Trading Alert #2017 - 010 or the IEX Connectivity Manual for additional information about accessing the ITF via a dedicated cross-connect.

Intraday in the IEX Production Environment

On Friday, September 15, IEX began supporting the auction process and listings functionality for test IEX-listed securities in the Production environment. Security Directory and Auction Information messages for test IEX-listed securities are also being disseminated over production IEX market data feeds at this time.
