Revised Date for Introducing the Market Maker Peg Order Type

Overview

On August 25, 2017, IEX received SEC approval to introduce the Market Maker Peg order type. IEX has revised the date for introducing the new Market Maker Peg order type to Wednesday, October 4, 2017. On that date, registered Market Makers will be able to begin using the new Market Maker Peg order type.

Testing Opportunities

Saturday Industry Tests

Members can test Market Maker Peg functionality in the IEX Production environment during any of the following Listings Saturday testing opportunities:

  • IEX Listings Industry Test #2 (in DR environment): September 9
  • IEX Listings Industry Test #3: September 23
  • IEX Listings Industry Test #4: October 7

Intraday in the IEX Test Facility ("ITF")

The Market Maker Peg order type is currently available for testing in the IEX Test Facility ("ITF").
