Reminder to Sign Up for New System Status Alert Application

Overview

On Friday, September 9, IEX launched a new application that disseminates system status alerts via the IEX website, email, SMS text and on twitter (@IEXstatus). As previously communicated, IEX will retire the old mailing list system alerts on September 30, 2016. At this time, subscribers who have not enrolled in the new system will no longer receive system status messages from IEX. Any subscribers who wish to continue receiving system alerts must visit iextrading.com/status to subscribe to the new alerts before September 30. Please note that both systems will continue to run in parallel until September 30.

Alert Subscription Process

To enroll in the new alert system, users will need to go to iextrading.com/status and select the "Subscribe" button on the page. The user will be prompted to enter their email address, cell phone number, and communication preferences into the form.

Once the user submits the form, they will receive a confirmation email and will need to click the "Verify now" link in the email to activate their subscription.
